Peridot, Spinel - August

"The Hobbit" and "The Lord of The Rings" are my top favorite fantasy movies. Absolutely fascinated with Tolkien's books screenings I have created Mordor Collection. Mordor has two meanings: The Black Land or The Dark Land in Tolkien's contrived language Sindarin. Mordor was protected from three sides by tall and rough mountain ranges. Imagine there is a Mount Doom, a Mordor's volcano where the One Ring was forged, and the only place it could be destroyed.

Let's start our own fantasy and magical quest. For a moment let's feel like Frodo Baggins from Shire.

Algae Collection was created during my stay in beloved Sardinia. Walking along the beach I took loads of photographs. I was amazed by algae forms and shapes. Algae are fascinating aquatic photosynthetic organisms. In addition to their ecological roles as oxygen producers and as the food base for almost all aquatic life, algae are economically important as a source of crude oil and as sources of food and a number of pharmaceutical and industrial products for humans.

Who doesn't love being wrapped in a soft, warm fabric. Gniot Collection has a delicate, crumbled texture. "Gnieść" in Polish means to crumple. Thus Gniots are squeezed pieces that each time has different wrinkled structure from previous ones.
