Peridot, Spinel - August

Algae Collection was created during my stay in beloved Sardinia. Walking along the beach I took loads of photographs. I was amazed by algae forms and shapes. Algae are fascinating aquatic photosynthetic organisms. In addition to their ecological roles as oxygen producers and as the food base for almost all aquatic life, algae are economically important as a source of crude oil and as sources of food and a number of pharmaceutical and industrial products for humans.

Made in 22k Gold plated Sterling Silver.

Ornamented with Natural Black Spinel.

The wonderful World of insects contains some of the most bizarre-looking creatures in existence and caterpillars are not an exception. Actually, a caterpillar is a young butterfly that has just hatched out of its egg, so just a step in the whole butterfly metamorphosis thing. Their unique and variegated look always grab my attention when I find one in my garden.
